THE ROLE OF CONSULTANTS ON THE
BOARD
The
motion was made by the ICAVL Board of Directors to no longer
have consultants as part of the Board. Phillip J. Bendick,
PhD, RVT will now represent the American Institute of Ultrasound
in Medicine. Dr. Bendick will continue to serve on the Board's
executive committee as Historian. Richard Kempczinski, MD
will now serve as an Honorary Board Member.
AGREEMENT CHANGE FEE
A
fee of $200 will be applied for those laboratories wishing to
make changes to the wording of the Accreditation Agreement.
As the ever-increasing number of requests for changes to the
agreement result in subsequent attorney fees and increased amount
of staff time for the ICAVL, the Board felt that the fee has
become a necessity.
