IN SONOGRAPHY CREDENTIALING

The
ICAVL congratulates the American Registry for Diagnostic
Medical Sonography (ARDMS) on recently earning the prestigious
accreditation for certifying bodies from the International Organization
for Standardization (ISO) headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
Accreditation is granted through the American National Standards
Institute (ANSI), the U.S. sponsoring organization to ISO. By
achieving ANSI-ISO accreditation, ARDMS has become the internationally
recognized standard in ultrasound credentialing.
"ANSI-ISO
accreditation is truly one of the great accomplishments of ARDMS
in its 30-year history. All ARDMS Registrants can now be proud
that their credentials are recognized internationally in scope,
and that ARDMS is recognized as a global organization,"
says Dale R. Cyr, MBA, CAE, chief executive officer and executive
director of ARDMS.
