Announcing...Version 3.0
THE NEWLY REVISED ELECTRONIC APPLICATION
IS NOW AVAILABLE
from
the January 2006 issue
In November 2005, over 3,000 laboratories that had previously
purchased the ICAVL accreditation materials (the ICAVL Standards
and the corresponding Accreditation Application) were sent notification
of the availability of the latest version of the ICAVL electronic
application and instructions for completing a free download
of the updated version.
This
application will replace the previous 2.0 version. Version
3.0 must be used at the time of your laboratory's
next application submission.
GETTING
THE NEW VERSION
There
are two ways laboratories may obtain the new application. The
application can be downloaded from a secure website, or a CD
can be requested from the ICAVL office. The CD is free-of-charge;
however, there is a $15.00 charge for shipping and handling.
REMINDER:
ALWAYS BACK UP
Existing
data entered into the 2.0 version of the application can be
converted to the new application automatically, but please note
that it is imperative that you create a backup of your old data.
Instructions are provided in the letter sent to the laboratory,
as well as on the website from which you will download the new
application.
If
your laboratory has not received the mailing regarding the new
application, please contact the ICAVL office by calling 1-800-838-2110
or 410-872-0100 and we will supply you with the information
needed to obtain the latest version of the application.
